Salsa scene friendliness factor

Ok this has been bothering me for a while and thought I will get it off my chest.... Has salsa scene has gotten too big and unfriendly or is it just me?

Thanks for last night!
I wanted to thank everyone who came by and talked to me at Link last night! Everyone I talked to was so enthusiastic about the site and I was heartened that everyone knew about my efforts and gave me such a warm reception. It's really made things worthwhile for me putting all my energy into creating the site. Sometimes you don't realize the impact you are making until you get out and talk to people!
