Salsa dancing because: It recreates in me the feelings I experience when riding a motorcycle on an open highway or free-falling out of an airplane; freedom, weightlessness, and passion...over and over again.

I've been dancing salsa in my heart since I first heard the music. I've been dancing salsa on the dance floor for five years. The more people I speak to about salsa the more I get hooked.

Great friends and a better knowledge of myself.
What are the salsa No-No's when dancing with a partner?:
Being a rough lead and profusely sweating all over your partner...yucky.
If you could improve upon one thing in the New York Salsa scene, what would it be?:
I's like to see less competition with people and more competition with self.
What advice would you give someone just starting out in salsa?:
Dance as much as possible and laugh when you mess up, because you will.
