Why Salsa?: 
The music, the lyrics, very romantic. The mambo very sensual. Its almost like foreplay.
How long have you been dancing salsa and what keeps you coming back for more?: 
A little over a year. I'm not where I want to be as a dancer. I won't be satisfied til I have mastered the dance.
In addition to learning salsa, what else have you gained from the experience?: 
Met alot of people. It's a good social outlet. Fun people having fun. I feel like I'm part of a special community.
My most embarrassing salsa moment was: 
I was spinning a partner in a class, she hit my nose with her elbow. I saw stars. I kept dancing on instinct and didn't realize I was bleeding until I saw a look of horror on my partners face and felt the warm blood on my chin and shirt.I must have looked like a vampire. It wasn't Liz Mejia.
What are the salsa No-No's when dancing with a partner?: 
Walking off the floor and leaving your dance partner flat. Not taking care of your dance partner. Ladies who spin with flying elbows.
If you could improve upon one thing in the New York Salsa scene, what would it be?: 
That short, muscular, hairy guys like me would be very desirable to the beautiful salseras
What advice would you give someone just starting out in salsa?: 
Find a reliable, advanced, encouraging, patient practice partner.
