Anya Katsevman and Luis Aguilar competed in the NY/NJ Salsa Open Finals on July 13th, 2008. Anya and Luis placed first in the competition and will go on and represent New York in the competition in Puerto Rico. The MC for the evening was Joe Burgos. Judges for the event included: Luis Zegarra, Eddie Torres, Billy Farjardo, Jami Josephson, and Nelson Flores. Griselle Ponce was the main organizer for the event.
