The preliminary contest for the 2007 World Salsa Championship was held at Mambo Fateegz on Friday November 16th, 2007. Round one was hosted by Jimmy Anton and Luis Zegarra was the announcer for the evening. The evening also marked the launch party for 8th Annual NY Salsa Congress.
