On July 9, 2006 Salseras & Salseros from around the world got together to compete in the world of sports at the 1st ever Salsa Olympics. This successful event brought the world of Sports together with the world of dance, a unique event of its kind. The day began with events in Volleyball, Basketball, Soccer and Track for Adults and children and ended with performances by salseros from around the world and an evening of dance.
